Women Mentoring Women Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit faith based organization geared toward empowering homeless women veterans and underprivileged women to re-enter and succeed back into the job market by honing confidence through the support of experienced professional business women mentors.

Our primary focus is helping homeless women veterans find temporary housing and employment, self-confidence, and training programs through networking, partnership, free information, and our professional services and insight on today's challenges for women in the job market.

Our Women Veterans deserve better, and a safe haven to call their own.

On May 4, 2016, the VA National Center on Homelessness Among Veterans partnered with the VA Women's Health Services, to conduct a research symposium on women Veterans and homelessness.

Studies showed that, "Veteran women are more than twice as likely as non-Veteran women and over three times as likely as non-veteran women living in poverty to experience homelessness". The Department of Housing & Urban Development identified 4,338 women Veterans who were experiencing homelessness, comprising 9.1% of the entire Veteran homeless population. It estimated that

1-2% of all women Veterans and 13-15% of women Veterans living in poverty experience homelessness over the course of a year, (Montgomery, 2016).

We plan to help break the barriers that are contributing to the challenges and give our women Veterans back the opportunities and confidence they need to be productive in their lives, families, and society.
